Creates a new event in the specified stream. Events are immutable once created. The event ID is generated server-side and returned in the response. Events are processed asynchronously; the response confirms acceptance, not processing completion.

Events are validated synchronously but processed asynchronously. A 201 response means the event was accepted into the processing queue. Use the Event Status endpoint to check processing state. Maximum payload size is 256KB. The occurred_at field is optional and defaults to the server receive time if not provided.

Retrieves a paginated list of events from the specified stream. Events are returned in reverse chronological order by default. Supports filtering by type, time range, and metadata fields.

This endpoint is eventually consistent. Changes may take up to 5 seconds to be reflected in query results. For strong consistency guarantees, use the event ID returned in the creation response.

Deleted resources are soft-deleted and retained for 30 days before permanent removal. During this period, they can be restored via the support team. After permanent deletion, the data cannot be recovered.
Permanently deletes a stream and all its events. This action cannot be undone. Active webhook subscriptions are also removed. Pending events in the processing queue are discarded.
